So About Me
Hi! I’m Sophia Basilone. I’m a graphic designer based in Northern New Jersey and Connecticut. I have a passion for creating experiences that are both beautiful and strategic.
I’ve always been interested in the arts, from dance, to theater, to film. I attended a summer camp in elementary school where I learned Photoshop. In high school I took a few media arts classes where I dug deeper into learning Adobe. When I first got to college I didn’t know graphic design was an option. I always knew I belonged in a creative industry but, when I got to college, I didn’t know exactly what path I wanted to take until an introductory design class. With support from my professor I switched over to the graphic design program.
Today, I’m a Graphic and Interactive Design major with a Film & Television minor at Quinnipiac University. I’ll begin pursuing my master’s degree in Digital Content Creation and Strategy this summer. I’ve worked on award-winning and record breaking design projects. I’ve worked with our student run agency here on campus as well as interned with Meraki & Co. Wedding + Event Styling creating invitations and signage.
